Dear Reader, in this age of AI created content, please support with your goodwill someone who works harder to provide the human-made. Sign up at the top of the lefthand column or bottom of this page. You will receive my hand illustrated monthly newsletter RESTORE NATURE and access to the biodiversity garden design course as I write...and nothing else, I respect your time. I am also removing the advertizing as best I can as its become intrusive inappropriate and pays me nothing.

can such tiny leaves give so much joy ?
Just some pictures of the larger, transplanted oak seedlings, a germinating acorn, showing how much earlier the root or radicle emerges than the shoot, and an update on what is happening with germination in the worm farm after a fortnight which is contrary to popular opinion... zilch, and the other pots planted on 15th and 21st April... zilch... oh no, correction, one tiny emergent ! Giving so far out of 20 acorns, 5 germinations... a 25% germination rate and counting.
