Great article.

I love the beautiful structure of the wild plum. Propagating from seed, lots of success. I clean and leave to dry, sand both sides and on one side for cotledon to be able to force open. Sold botanical small holding in Bathurst and possibly relocating to Witsand. Going to take a few babies with. TX again for great writing. Green finger wave to you. Nick.

Wild plum cultivation
by: Caroline

Dear Nick, thank you for your comment and advice on sanding the seed to make it easier to germinate. I was thinking of doing a big batch as there are three good trees fruiting in the neighborhood, so I will try scarring them this time. You are welcome to supply your details so that people can contact you to purchase plants, if you sell them. Perhaps you can advise the two people who have asked me about why their wild plums died ?
